QSV Advantage

What differentiates QSV from our competition?

Culture: Our corporate culture sets our services apart from other contract manufacturers. At QSV Biologics we understand the value that can be created by producing quality products in a timely manner. For this reason client processes are developed with quality and speed in mind. This performance culture is embedded in our business model as QSV staff are compensated and rewarded for producing quality results at or before established deadlines.

Focused: In contrast to many other CMOs, excess capacity manufacturers or those offering a diversity of ancillary services, QSV Biologics focuses exclusively on contract biopharmaceutical manufacturing and has no competing products of its own. This results in an unwavering focus on meeting our clients' needs with quality and speed to build value. Surplus capacity providers represent a high risk drug discovery business model which if successful could lead to reallocation of capacity for the vendors internal needs.

Specialized: QSV specializes in the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins and diagnostics, allowing us to dedicate all of our human and financial resources toward our core competency. As a specialized biologics provider with senior management and ownership who are themselves from biopharmaceutical backgrounds, our corporate priorities and experience mean we understand biologics.

Flexible: QSV's focused and specialized business model allows us to track, develop and implement new technologies that will provide a superior product, accelerate manufacturing schedules and reduce overall cost.

Location: QSV's North American location (language, culture, proximity to biotechnology communities and third party contract organizations) offers a convenient business environment. Due to our local business climate, our cost structure allows us to provide competitive pricing for U.S. and international clients. Additional benefits are available to Canadian biotechnology firms in conjunction with the SR&ED program. According to the SR&ED-RS&ED website http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/taxcredit/sred/aboutus-e.html Canadian-controlled private corporations can receive a refundable investment tax credit (ITC) of up to 35% of qualifying SR&ED-RS&ED) expenditures.

People: QSV's greatest asset is our highly qualified technical team. We understand the responsible role we play in the development of our client's product. From initial contact with QSV to final delivery of product we assign a dedicated project manager and project team to facilitate clear communication keeping the project on time, on budget and on spec. Our team, consisting of Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Facilities & Engineering, have a successful track record in working as a single unit to deliver phase III clinical materials.

Business Code of Ethics: The QSV team believes that trust is essential in developing a productive mutual relationship. As a standard business practice, QSV will make every effort to communicate openly and provide accurate pro forma estimates of project schedules and projected costs.
